Hayward's coach-led gym for busy parents
45 minute coached strength and boxing classes, built for people with a job, kids and about an hour to spare. Nutrition and accountability come with the membership. First class is on us.

Best Fitness Facility and Best Fitness Trainer, Castro Valley and Eden Area readers' awards.
81 reviews. Members call it a community before they call it a gym.
Coach Paul has coached for over twenty years, including a run as head coach at Orangetheory.
How it works
Most gyms sell you a door code. This one sells you a coach, a plan and a room full of people who will notice if you skip Tuesday.
45 minute coached classes at 5:00 AM, 4:45 PM and 6:00 PM. Upper body, lower body, full body and boxing. A coach watches your form the whole time, so you get stronger without getting hurt.

We do the planning for you. A plan that fits your life and your kitchen, adjusted every week so the results keep coming. Nutrition guides are included in the membership, not sold on the side.

Your coach is your teammate. Check-ins, honest form corrections, a text when you go quiet, and workout buddies who push when it gets hard. Members say this is the part that keeps them coming.

Results from the wall

These are members, photographed by the gym, with the dates on the wall. No stock photos and no filters. The programme is body fat down, muscle up, and the numbers on the left are what that looks like.
Classes
Press, pull, carry. Dumbbells, bars and bands in a circuit, coached rep by rep. Runs Mondays at 5:00 AM, 4:45 PM and 6:00 PM.
Squat, hinge, lunge, carry. The class you feel on the stairs the next morning. Tuesdays at 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Gloves on. Rounds on the bag between strength stations, loud music, no sparring. Members' favourite class to bring a friend to.
The A Better You circuit. Every muscle group in one session, coached the whole way, and out the door inside the hour.
Upper body strength
All fitness levels welcome. Every class is coached, capped and 45 minutes long. Full timetable and what to expect
Built around your day, not ours
Three class times that fit around school runs, shifts and dinner. 45 minutes, coached, then back to your life.
Your first six weeks
The 6 week challenge is the gym's front door. Most members start there.
Your coach learns your name, your goal and what your week actually looks like. You leave with a plan and a start date, not a sales pitch.
Coaches walk the room and fix the small things before they turn into injuries. Your nutrition plan gets built around food you already buy.
Or the 6:00 PM crew. Workout buddies who push when it gets hard and notice when you are missing. Members say this is the part that keeps them coming back.
"I am in my fourth week and I have lost 7 lbs. My confidence is building. I have workout buddies that push me when the workout is hard."Sara C., Google review, during the 6 week challenge
Every week your coach adjusts the plan as your body changes. More weight on the bar, different portions on the plate, no plateaus left alone.
Weigh in, photos, next goal. Then the monthly challenges keep it interesting, and you keep the coach.

The coaches
Three coaches who watch form, learn names and show up every day. Members mention them by name in reviews, which is not something you see on a big-box gym's Google page.
